The Conservation Council of New Brunswick is pleased to co-sponsor an upcoming presentation on the history of forestry in New Brunswick, delivered by environmental historians Bill Parenteau and Mark McLaughlin.
Our Executive Director, Lois Corbett, will present on the problems with glyphosate spraying and outdated forest management practices when the Standing Committee on Climate Change and Environmental Stewardship meets in June.
Corbett said it’s good news contaminants appear to be flowing away from residential wells, but stressed long term monitoring will be needed to ensure residents’ safety.
