Fredericton Artist — Teresa Devor Hall

Teresa Devor Hall makes her home in Fredericton, New Brunswick, in the unceded and unsurrendered homeland of the Wolastoqey. As a researcher with the Madhu Verma Migrant Justice Centre, Teresa has collaborated with Annie Marie Martin Ferrer and others to create a poetry fundraiser called Grace. The first fruits of this labour will be published in November 2023, and will raise emergency funds for migrant workers and students, asylum-seekers and others with precarious immigration status.

The Grace Project motivated Teresa to join Harm to Harmony. She envisions poetry as a tool for migrant youth and adults to communicate their experiences with climate justice and injustice and their visions for a regenerative future. Their collaborative poetry could form the basis for a Grace Project publication.
