Jim Kitts, from Albert County, resides within sight of the tidal river where he harvests clay for his pottery forms, and very near to the local Farmers’ Market. He co-manages while playing handpan and shakuhachi with passing children.
Currently he is winding down clay harvesting. He may mentor ‘wild clay’ to further push ceramic sustainability. He is drifting back to his construction equipment as his community needs him to. As a parting ‘pot-shot’ he is mulling to build a wood fire kiln for his last ‘rock-job.’
