Join the CCNB Volunteer Board of Directors!

Do you want to make a difference in your community? Are you concerned about New Brunswick’s environment? Combat climate anxiety by taking positive action. Join the CCNB Volunteer Board of Directors!

Over the years members of the Board of Directors have had diverse areas of knowledge including the environment, public health, education, engineering, sustainable agriculture and farming, law, psychology and social inequality. We are looking to diversify our board composition to reach the most New Brunswickers that we can.

Responsibilities of the Board of Directors

The Board is responsible for developing a strategic plan to fulfill the mandate of the organization. Operational aspects of the strategic plan are delegated to the Executive Director(s) and employees of the organization, with progress regularly monitored by the Board. Board Members meet regularly (approximately 6 times a year) and have specific committees tailored to the interests of Board Members.
