We’re asking kids to decorate the bus with images that show their dreams for a happy and healthy environment. Whether it’s trees, clean air, or wildlife—anything that reflects their vision for a brighter future is welcome!

Why Electric School Buses?

Electric school buses are a cleaner, quieter, and more efficient way to transport our kids. By switching to electric, we can reduce harmful emissions, improve air quality, and take a big step toward a healthier future for everyone in our province.

Winners will be notified through their preferred contact method within one week following the contest deadline. With the consent of a legal guardian or parent, the names of winners and honorable mentions will also be featured on our social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook, as well as on our Electric Bus webpage. We’re excited to celebrate your creativity and can’t wait to share the results!

First-place prizes will be awarded in each age category: Lower Elementary (Grades Kindergarten – 2) and Upper Elementary (Grades 3 – 5). Additionally, honorable mentions will be recognized for outstanding entries. Stay tuned for details on the exciting prizes!

  1. The colouring contest is open to any New Brunswick student in Lower Elementary
    (Grades Kindergarten – 2) or Upper Elementary (Grades 3 – 5).
  2. Participants must fall between the ages of 5 and 11 years old.
  3. Contestants must adhere to all contest rules to be eligible for prizes.

Participating children must submit a high-quality photo of both the coloring sheet’s front and back. Submitted photos must be in JPEG, PNG, or PDF format, with at least a 1080p resolution and a maximum file size of 24 MB. Each participating child may submit only one entry. All entries must be original works created solely by the participant.

Acceptable coloring tools include crayons, colored pencils, markers, and pens. However, please note that mixed media entries are not permitted, meaning elements such as stickers or collage materials should not be included.

All entries must be submitted by (TBD: date and time). Please ensure your submission is on time, as only entries received by the deadline will be accepted. The Conservation Council of New Brunswick is not responsible for any lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries, nor for any technical malfunctions that may affect participation or submission.
