This climate change art brings attention to the diverse, fragile environment of Northern Canada and the life above and below the critical northern ice pack. ‘Walking On Thin Ice’ was designed and created by Gary & Marie Crosby. Hand-carved and hand-painted epoxy art designed to show the critical partnership we all have with our climate.

Specifications:

The water is made from blue resin epoxy. The Polar Bear and the ice burg are carved from white poplar wood (hardwood flooring) with the Orca background painted in acrylic. We used three mediums, woodcarving resin art and painting, to create this unique work of art and truly one-of-a-kind.
