Sign up for our 2020 Annual General Meeting — Nov. 21

We’re going virtual!

Dear members, supporters, friends, and New Brunswickers from the Baie de Chaleur to the Bay of Fundy, we hope you can join us for our 51st Annual General Meeting taking place Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020.

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve decided the safest way to hold our meeting this year is for all of us to gather online for a virtual AGM.

Register using the form below.

We’ve prepared great presentations from our program staff giving an overview of our work this past year. This virtual AGM will include the presentation of the Annual Beth McLaughlin Environmental Journalism Award and an update from Dr. Louise Comeau on the fantastic electricity project.

How will the virtual meeting work?

We have a secure account with the video conferencing company Zoom. Our team, volunteers and Board of Directors have used Zoom to meet virtually since the beginning of the pandemic. All of our meetings are password protected and we use the additional safety feature of a ‘waiting room’ to make sure our meetings are secure.

This year, when you register for the virtual AGM, you will receive an email from us in the days leading up to the event with the meeting details and simple instructions on how to participate, along with the full AGM agenda package (minutes, auditors report, etc.) If you don’t have reliable internet access or are unable to join the meeting via desktop computer, laptop or smartphone, you can still attend by calling in to the meeting with the toll-free number we’ll provide in the invitation.

As an added layer of safety for this gathering, we’re asking that you please not share the meeting login information over social media. By all means, spread the word about the AGM (which, of course, is free and open for all New Brunswickers to attend), but please direct folks to register on our website using the form below!

Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you on Nov. 21!

Sign up for our Annual General Meeting is now closed.
