National Groups, Local Communities, First Nations, Businesses Join Forces to Keep Bay of Fundy Safe From Energy East Pipeline

What: The Heads of eleven of Canada’s leading environmental groups, First Nations, local fishers and tourism operators to tour Saint John Harbour and Redhead on a local fishing boat to see firsthand the unique ecosystem and sustainable jobs at risks from TransCanada’s Energy East proposal. This will be followed by a press conference open to the media at Mispec Beach.

The groups are being hosted by the Conservation Council of New Brunswick and Fundy Baykeeper Matthew Abbott.

A media conference is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at Mispec Beach.
