Embrace sustainability: Conservation Council invites you to the Solar Butterfly’s Fredericton debut

The Conservation Council of New Brunswick is thrilled to invite the Fredericton community to our upcoming event, the Solar Butterfly Open House. After a long pause due to the pandemic, we are excited to welcome our community back to the Conserver House and ignite Fredericton’s imagination about clean, affordable energy.

On Wednesday, July 5, join us at Conserver House in Fredericton for an electrifying experience. Our star attraction is none other than the Solar Butterfly. This thought-provoking, 10-meter-long trailer is covered in solar panels and wing-like extensions that spread out like butterfly wings. The renewable energy it generates powers a Tesla that’s making its way around the world in search of 1000 ideas, projects, and companies that work on climate change solutions. Since the Conservation Council has always been at the heart of the Fredericton Community, it was deemed the ideal location for the Solar Butterfly to make its debut in the city.

Visit the Solar Butterfly, mingle with our passionate staff and youth climate advocates, and participate in insightful discussions about affordable, reliable energy solutions. We’ve also curated a diverse range of activities that cater to all ages, including pinwheel making, a water wheel display, and renewable energy themed coloring pages – ensuring an unforgettable blend of fun and education for all ages.

This is the perfect chance for your entire family to learn, and create lasting memories. Don’t miss out on an incredible day filled with fun, discovery, and laughter.

Together, let’s shape the future of sustainable energy and make a positive impact on our planet.
