Conservation Council Earth Week Forestry Webinar
Featuring Dr. Anthony Taylor
Ecological forestry has gained increasing attention in recent years, with research demonstrating its potential to reverse forest degradation, restore biodiversity, and strengthen resilience to climate change. Yet adoption across the Wabanaki Forest has remained limited, partly due to different interpretations of what ecological forestry means and challenges in implementing it operationally.
In this presentation, Dr. Taylor will step back to review the core principles of ecological forestry, including practical strategies for its implementation, its known limitations, and areas where future research is needed.
