A Fredericton city councillor says he will invite the Conservation Council of New Brunswick to share the results of a survey it is conducting on environmental priorities with council.
Interns at CCNB have been canvassing in Fredericton since Oct. 14. They’re asking residents a five-minute questionnaire about environmental values and priorities.
In an article published in The Daily Gleaner on Nov. 12, Coun. Greg Ericson said he plans to invite CCNB staff to share their findings with council.
I’m a strong supporter of the work they’ve been doing in our community for many years and I’d be very happy to have them in here,” Ericson told The Gleaner.
The survey will continue until Nov. 30.
Coun. Kate Rogers said she was pleased that CCNB was conducting the survey.
“I find that really interesting to know that people are really concerned about the environment, and talking about the environment, getting more information” she said.
“I think that that’s just a really good thing for our community. It’s clearly a priority.
