David MacDonald, a member of the Conservation Council’s board of directors, appeared in a tribute article celebrating the life of Beth McLaughlin which appeared in the Times & Transcript on Feb. 25.
McLaughlin died on Feb. 22. She was a CCNB board member for years who worked tirelessly on a number of environmental issues in the province, including CCNB’s nuclear power and forest conservation campaigns. Read more about Beth in our tribute here.
“She was a real dynamo and had an incredible love for people,” MacDonald said in the article of his longtime friend McLaughlin, with whom he served on CCNB’s board of directors. “She was the kind of person who would get something started and then step back and let things happen.”
