In memory of Peter deMarsh

[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Today New Brunswick remembers a great person. Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Peter deMarsh of Taymouth, who was among those killed in the tragic Ethiopian Airlines crash on Sunday.

Peter was known and admired by many as a champion of forest stewardship and a dedicated advocate for rural communities and woodlot owners.

Peter was the chair of the International Family Forestry Alliance, president of the Canadian Federation of Woodlot Owners, a former spokesperson for the New Brunswick Federation of Woodlot Owners, and past member of the Nashwaak Watershed Association who spent his life fighting for sustainable forestry practices at home and abroad. He will be greatly missed in the community of Taymouth and in the hearts of friends, family and colleagues across Canada and the world.
The Taymouth United Church will be open on Friday March 15 from 10 am until 4 pm.
Please drop by at any time. Say a prayer, have a chat, or just visit and remember Peter.
