Au vu d\u2019une ventilation d\u00e9taill\u00e9e des \u00e9missions pour tous les secteurs \u00e9conomiques de la province, on constate que l\u2019augmentation des \u00e9missions provient exclusivement du <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/data-donnees.ec.gc.ca\/data\/substances\/monitor\/canada-s-official-greenhouse-gas-inventory\/C-Tables-Electricity-Canada-Provinces-Territories\/?lang=en\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">secteur de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00ab\u00a0Il faut mettre fin \u00e0 la combustion des combustibles fossiles pour produire de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb, d\u00e9clare Louise Comeau, co-directrice ex\u00e9cutive du Conseil de conservation. \u00ab\u00a0Faire de l\u2019argent \u00e0 partir de sources d\u2019\u00e9nergie \u00e0 l\u2019origine du r\u00e9chauffement plan\u00e9taire n\u2019est pas un processus \u00e9thique. Cette fa\u00e7on de faire augmente nos dettes en mati\u00e8re de carbone et met notre avenir en danger. Il est maintenant temps d\u2019abandonner les usines aux combustibles fossiles pour pr\u00e9coniser les \u00e9nergies renouvelables, l\u2019entreposage, les interconnexions et l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019augmentation de 700\u00a0000\u00a0tonnes affich\u00e9e par le secteur de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 du Nouveau-Brunswick repr\u00e9sente une hausse annuelle de 33 %, soit de 2.1 millions de tonnes en 2020 \u00e0 2.8 millions de tonnes en 2021. Cette hausse a \u00e9t\u00e9 suscit\u00e9e par des augmentations des \u00e9missions de la centrale de Coleson Cove (47\u00a0%, ou de 730\u00a0000 tonnes en 2020 \u00e0 1\u00a0070\u00a0000 tonnes en 2021), la centrale de Belledune (jusqu\u2019\u00e0 22\u00a0%, ou de 1\u00a0140\u00a0000\u00a0tonnes \u00e0 1\u00a0390\u00a0000\u00a0tonnes) et la centrale de Bayside (jusqu\u2019\u00e0 11 %, ou de 830\u00a0000 tonnes \u00e0 920\u00a0000 tonnes).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La centrale de Point Lepreau a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www150.statcan.gc.ca\/t1\/tbl1\/en\/tv.action?pid=2510001501&amp;pickMembers%5b0%5d=1.5&amp;pickMembers%5b1%5d=2.1&amp;cubeTimeFrame.startMonth=01&amp;cubeTimeFrame.startYear=2021&amp;cubeTimeFrame.endMonth=12&amp;cubeTimeFrame.endYear=2021&amp;referencePeriods=20210101,20211201\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fonctionn\u00e9 la majorit\u00e9 de 2021<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, avec trois br\u00e8ves coupures de courant en <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbpower.com\/en\/about-us\/news-media-centre\/news\/2021\/point-lepreau-nuclear-generating-station-update-february-2021\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">f\u00e9vrier<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbpower.com\/en\/about-us\/news-media-centre\/news\/2021\/point-lepreau-nuclear-generating-station-update-april-2021\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">avril<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> et <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbpower.com\/en\/about-us\/news-media-centre\/news\/2021\/point-lepreau-nuclear-generating-station-reconnects-to-the-grid-december-2021\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">novembre<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Ces coupures de courant augmentent la d\u00e9pendance du Nouveau-Brunswick envers les usines aux combustibles fossiles ou les importations du Qu\u00e9bec ou de la Nouvelle-Angleterre. En 2021, \u00c9nergie NB a aussi augment\u00e9 ses ventes par exportation, ce qui peut contribuer \u00e0 une utilisation accrue des usines aux \u00e9nergies fossiles.\u00a0 Selon le <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbpower.com\/media\/1491823\/nb-power-annual-report-2021-22.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rapport annuel de 2021-2022<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> d\u2019\u00c9nergie NB, il y a eu une augmentation de 52 % des ventes par exportation (de 369 millions de dollars en 2020-2021 \u00e0 558 millions de dollars en 2021-2022), et une augmentation de la production de 35 % des gigawattheures (de 4 576 GWh en 2020-2021 \u00e0 6 175 GWh en 2021-2022).\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Comme la Journ\u00e9e de la Terre (22 avril) approche, le Conseil de conservation appelle \u00e0 une strat\u00e9gie d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 propre afin d\u2019assurer au Nouveau-Brunswick un syst\u00e8me d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 fiable, durable et abordable qui soit bien \u00e9quilibr\u00e9 au niveau de l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique, de l\u2019entreposage et des \u00e9nergies solaire, \u00e9olienne et hydro-\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 intraprovinciaux, et assorti de transmissions inter-r\u00e9gionales comme la boucle de l\u2019Atlantique.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>Pour obtenir une entrevue, veuillez
