{"id":182872,"date":"2022-05-11T12:39:23","date_gmt":"2022-05-11T15:39:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.conservationcouncil.ca\/lavenir-appartient-aux-energies-renouvelables-pas-aux-combustibles-fossiles\/"},"modified":"2022-05-12T11:06:48","modified_gmt":"2022-05-12T14:06:48","slug":"lavenir-appartient-aux-energies-renouvelables-pas-aux-combustibles-fossiles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.conservationcouncil.ca\/fr\/lavenir-appartient-aux-energies-renouvelables-pas-aux-combustibles-fossiles\/","title":{"rendered":"L\u2019avenir appartient aux \u00e9nergies renouvelables, pas aux combustibles fossiles"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"182872\" class=\"elementor elementor-182872 elementor-182701\" data-elementor-post-type=\"post\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-d204583 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"d204583\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-18e599b\" data-id=\"18e599b\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c061aac elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"c061aac\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-82fd509 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"82fd509\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><b>Terre ancestrale des Ab\u00e9naquis\/Fredericton \u2013<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Le Conseil de conservation du Nouveau-Brunswick et l\u2019Alliance anti-gaz de schiste du Nouveau-Brunswick ont publi\u00e9 la\u00a0 d\u00e9claration conjointe suivante en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 la sp\u00e9culation du premier ministre Blaine Higgs selon laquelle le gaz de schiste et le gaz naturel liqu\u00e9fi\u00e9 constituent des solutions au risque de p\u00e9nurie de gaz en raison de la guerre qui fait actuellement rage en Europe :\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En envisageant l\u2019annulation du moratoire sur la fracturation hydraulique et la construction d\u2019un un terminal d&rsquo;exportation de GNL \u00e0 Saint John pour \u00ab\u00a0sauver nos voisins \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger\u00a0\u00bb, le premier ministre Higgs fait preuve d\u2019\u00e9troitesse de vue et d\u2019irr\u00e9alisme, et manque de prot\u00e9ger la sant\u00e9 et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des N\u00e9o-Brunswickois des risques croissants du changement climatique.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dans un <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iea.org\/reports\/net-zero-by-2050\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rapport de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence publi\u00e9 en 2021<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, l\u2019Agence internationale de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie (AIE) a conclu que, pour atteindre la carboneutralit\u00e9 d\u2019ici \u00e0 2050, il faut bannir tout nouveau projet d\u2019exploitation p\u00e9troli\u00e8re, gazi\u00e8re ou minier si l\u2019on veut \u00e9viter un r\u00e9chauffement plan\u00e9taire de 1,5\u00b0C.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019Europe et le Canada se sont engag\u00e9s \u00e0 ne plus \u00e9mettre aucun gaz \u00e0 effet de serre d\u2019ici \u00e0 2050. Ce sont les \u00e9nergies renouvelables qui leur permettront d\u2019atteindre cet objectif.\u00a0 Les craintes \u00e0 court terme de l\u2019Europe concernant son approvisionnement en gaz ne justifient pas des investissements qui ne peuvent pas livrer ce dont la population a besoin au cours des prochaines ann\u00e9es. L\u2019avenir appartient aux \u00e9nergies renouvelables, et c\u2019est dans cette direction que va l\u2019Europe, de m\u00eame que le Canada.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00ab\u00a0Si le Nouveau-Brunswick veut positionner son \u00e9conomie de sorte \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre aux besoins \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques de notre pays et du monde, il doit axer ses investissements sur l\u2019\u00e9nergie \u00e9olienne en mer, produire de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne verte et des combustibles renouvelable et \u00e9lectrifier son propre syst\u00e8me \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019\u00e9nergies renouvelables et de l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique\u00a0\u00bb, explique Louise Comeau, directrice du programme Solutions pour le changement climatique et l\u2019\u00e9nergie du Conseil de conservation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00ab\u00a0Nous devons cesser de regarder en arri\u00e8re et d\u2019envisager des solutions comme les exportations de combustibles fossiles et l\u2019\u00e9nergie nucl\u00e9aire dispendieuse et risqu\u00e9e.\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selon Jim Emberger, porte-parole de l\u2019Alliance anti-gaz de schiste du Nouveau-Brunswick, le moratoire sur la fracturation hydraulique a \u00e9t\u00e9 la mesure climatique la plus claire et la plus efficace que la province ait jamais prise.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00ab\u00a0Nous devons la maintenir ou, \u00e0 l\u2019instar du Qu\u00e9bec, aller encore plus loin et interdire toute extraction de combustible fossile\u00a0\u00bb, affirme M. Emberger.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Durant les sept ann\u00e9es qui ont suivi le moratoire, on a constat\u00e9 suite \u00e0 une \u00e9tude scientifique et \u00e0 des exp\u00e9riences sur le terrain que les motifs de l\u2019interdiction de la fracturation \u00e9taient valides, et encore plus probantes que ce nous pensions en 2014, tout particuli\u00e8rement en ce qui concerne ses effets sur la sant\u00e9 publique, le changement climatique et la pollution de l\u2019eau.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dans la derni\u00e8re \u00e9dition de leur Compendium of Scientific, Medical, and Media Findings Demonstrating Risks and Harms of Fracking, publi\u00e9e en 2022, les agents de Physicians for Social Responsibility ont indiqu\u00e9 que, lors de leur examen, ils n\u2019avaient d\u00e9couvert aucune donn\u00e9e probante selon laquelle la fracturation pouvait \u00eatre pratiqu\u00e9e d\u2019une fa\u00e7on qui ne menace pas directement la sant\u00e9 humaine et sans mettre en danger la stabilit\u00e9 climatique dont d\u00e9pend la sant\u00e9 humaine.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le Nouveau-Brunswick a besoin d\u2019une strat\u00e9gie d\u2019\u00e9lectrification comportant :<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">une mise \u00e0 jour de la politique \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique visant \u00e0 axer cette politique sur les \u00e9nergies renouvelables, et non pas sur les petits r\u00e9acteurs nucl\u00e9aires modulaires, conform\u00e9ment aux \u00e9tudes qui montrent que les \u00e9nergies renouvelables constituent le moyen le plus rentable de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions et de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la demande \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">une modification de la <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Loi sur l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">afin de permettre un m\u00e9lange de production d\u2019\u00e9nergie publique, priv\u00e9e et communautaire;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">une nouvelle cible de 80 % d\u2019\u00e9nergie renouvelable au Nouveau-Brunswick d\u2019ici \u00e0 2030;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">l\u2019exploration d\u2019options pour la planification int\u00e9gr\u00e9e des ressources r\u00e9gionales, i.e., la cr\u00e9ation de la boucle de l\u2019Atlantique.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00ab\u00a0Les deux voies les plus propices \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation actuelle de nouveaux emplois au Nouveau-Brunswick sont celles de l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et de la technologie des \u00e9nergies propres\u00a0\u00bb, explique Lois Corbett, directrice ex\u00e9cutive du Conseil de conservation. \u00ab\u00a0Voil\u00e0 la voie sur laquelle nous devons nous engager; de plus, en prenant cette direction, nous ne mettons pas notre eau potable, ni la sant\u00e9 de nos collectivit\u00e9s en danger.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span
