heureux de lancer la s\u00e9rie de rapports, de webinaires et de recherches intitul\u00e9e <em>Vision pour l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 de l\u2019Atlantique<\/em> afin de montrer que notre r\u00e9gion peut, d\u00e8s maintenant, b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d\u2019une \u00e9lectricit\u00e9 abordable, fiable et durable. Une \u00e9lectricit\u00e9 plus propre peut nous aider \u00e0 jouir d\u2019une s\u00e9curit\u00e9 accrue et d\u2019une meilleure sant\u00e9. Tout d\u2019abord, l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 propre d\u00e9pend principalement de sources non polluantes, comme les \u00e9nergies solaire et \u00e9olienne et les technologies hydro\u00e9lectriques existantes, efficacement utilis\u00e9es. Ces technologies renouvelables ont des r\u00e9percussions environnementales moins marqu\u00e9es que l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 issue du charbon, du p\u00e9trole et du gaz naturel qui g\u00e9n\u00e8rent des gaz \u00e0 effet de serre lors de leur combustion et provoquent le r\u00e9chauffement plan\u00e9taire qui chamboule le climat. Deuxi\u00e8mement, il faut que notre portefeuille d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 durable soit abordable et fiable.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element La croissance de la demande en \u00e9lectricit\u00e9 proviendra en grande partie de l\u2019\u00e9lectrification accrue des transports, du chauffage domiciliaire et des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s industriels. On nous dit que nous pourrions convertir l\u2019usine d\u2019importation de Saint John en usine d\u2019exportation en trois ans. On nous dit qu\u2019un d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique est possible si nous <strong>levons le moratoire sur le gaz de schiste de la province<\/strong> pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le processus et rendre la conversion plus rentable par rapport aux autres options d\u2019approvisionnement en m\u00e9thane et aux ol\u00e9oducs. mai 2022, le Conseil de conservation publiait le rapport d\u2019une \u00e9tude concernant les facteurs qui influent sur l\u2019acceptabilit\u00e9 sociale des \u00e9nergies renouvelables et des projets de transport \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique (<em>Factors Affecting Social Acceptance of Renewable Energy and Transmission Projects)<\/em>, dans laquelle on demandait aux Canadiens de pr\u00e9ciser les raisons pour lesquelles les nouveaux projets d\u2019\u00e9nergie renouvelable dans leur collectivit\u00e9 auraient ou non leur appui.<\/p><p>Il ressort constamment de la recherche que les Canadiens appuient fortement les \u00e9nergies renouvelables pour produire de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 non polluante, mais notre \u00e9quipe a constat\u00e9 que ce soutien ne tient pas toujours lorsqu\u2019il s\u2019agit d\u2019amorcer de nouveaux projets dans leur propre collectivit\u00e9.<\/p><p>Nous voulions savoir pourquoi et avons pos\u00e9 la question directement aux Canadiens. Au printemps 2022, pour amorcer la recherche, nous avons tenu \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle nationale des groupes de discussion.
