Tell Greater Moncton you want a plastic bag ban!

Time to speak up for the health of our oceans and wildlife!

Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview are asking residents to participate in a short survey as the municipalities consider a region-wide ban on single-use plastic bags.

“We’re taking it to the community to hear what the public wants to see changed in this area with respect to single-use waste,” Riverview’s communications coordinator, Meghan Cross, told Global News on Nov. 21.

They’ve partnered with local waste management facility Eco360 to run a short survey seeking public input. The survey closes at the end of this month.

We strongly encourage anyone living in Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview to take a couple of minutes and support a ban on the plastic bags littering our oceans, coastlines, forests and parks!
