Premier Blaine Higgs sworn in, names cabinet

Premier Blaine Higgs and his Progressive Conservative cabinet were sworn into power today at the New Brunswick Legislative Assembly.

Members of the cabinet include:

  • Robert Gauvin (MLA Shippagan-Lameque-Miscou), Deputy Premier, Minister of Tourism Heritage and Culture
  • Andrea Anderson-Mason (MLA Fundy-The Isles-Saint John West), Minister of Justice and Attorney General
  • Ross Wetmore (MLA Grand Lake-Gagetown), Minister of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries
  • Mary Wilson (MLA Oromocto-Lincoln-Fredericton), Minister of Economic Development and Small Business
  • Dominic Cardy (MLA Fredericton West-Hanwell), Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development
  • Mike Holland (MLA Albert), Minister of Energy and Resource Development
  • Jeff Carr (MLA New Maryland-Sunbury), Minister of Environment and Local Government
