She proposes the creation of a committee of the cabinet on climate change presided by the Premier, Brian Gallant.

‘’I can assure you, you will not meet your objectives without a committee of the cabinet presided by the Premier, to lead to wanted results,’’ she said.

Comeau has worked for the provincial governments of British Colombia and Ontario and her advice is inspired by her experiences at those two administrations.

The province will also need new legislation to ensure that the next action plan will be implemented, said Comeau.
