A plan to enhance the climate change conversation
You may have seen Louise Comeau, our Climate and Energy Policy Director, all over the news! The Conservation Council released its Climate Action Plan for New Brunswick yesterday, July 13. The plan offers concrete solutions towards bringing our greenhouse gas emissions down by investing in the retrofit of our buildings; expanding efforts to install renewable energy; and accelerating the installation of the Energy Internet.

Public invited to give input on climate action at MP town halls this month
Members of Parliament are currently doing town hall meetings to get your ideas on climate action and we hope that our climate action package that includes a nifty infographic will be useful in your conversations. Moncton MP Ginette Petitpas-Taylor will be hosting a town hall meeting tonight, July 14, in Moncton. Next week, on July 20, MP TJ Harvey will host a town hall meeting for Mactaquac-Tobique. Stay tuned for details of Southwest MP Karen Ludwig’s town hall meeting in Grand Bay-Westifield on July 26.
